Communion

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”

- 1 John 1:7

Communion

Communion is only for the converted, it is also only for the convert who is living the examined and, consequently, repentant life. The sacrament is for believers. And yet, the admonition to believers is clear: “But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread and drink of the cup” (1 Cor. 11:28).

“For he that eat and drink unworthily, eat and drink damnation to himself not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged period. But when we are judged we are chastened of the Lord, we should not be condemned with the world. Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another and if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come. (1 Cor. 11:29-34).

Communion is held on the last Sunday of each month at Holy Love Deliverance Temple, and additionally as led by God.

Our next Communion will be held on Sunday, December 5th, 2021 during Worship and Praise Service.
