Sign Up to Volunteer with Food Bank of the Rockies on February 12th, 1-4pm

Please remember to sign up THIS WEEK. We have until next Saturday to get up to nine more group members registered. On 2/5/22, any remaining unregistered spots will be released to the general public and no longer guaranteed to our group. Saturdays are a popular volunteer day and have a maximum of 50 volunteers in our volunteer center on Saturday mornings. 

HLDT has reserved the second Saturday of each month from 1-4pm for us to support and minister to our community at the Food Bank of the Rockies in the main warehouse.

This is an important role for the food bank and a great opportunity for our whole church family to participate, including children over 8. Tasks include inspecting, sorting and boxing items received through food drives and grocery rescue. 

In order to ensure proper coverage for the food bank’s needs, each volunteer must sign up on their website and any open spots will be released to the public if not registered in advance. The signup link is below and a direct link is posted on the HLDT homepage under “announcements.”

To register, select our date (2/12) from the calendar, it will be highlighted in blue, and follow the steps. If you are a new volunteer you will have to create an account, you can use the same email address for multiple family members, but you must use unique usernames.

We encourage everyone to wear their favorite HLDT shirt to “minister on one accord.” If you would like to purchase one of our new shirts, the link is on the HLDT homepage. Currently, masks are required while working indoors on Food Bank of the Rockies’ property. This applies to staff, volunteers, partners, and other visitors, regardless of vaccination status.
