SECRET BLESSER

For the end of December, HLDT will be coordinating a Secret Blesser ministry. With this, we will draw names on the first Sunday in November (11/7) and participants will look to find a very special gift that is fit for the church family member’s name they received. You can talk with their family or friends, arrange a coffee date to secretly gain intel on their likes and needs, or watch (respectfully) and chat with them at fellowships to learn more about them.

HLDT hosts this ministry to give members an opportunity to learn more about each other, while having fun as a group. We will exchange gifts at the end of December at an End of Year Fellowship.

There is no obligation to participate, but we encourage all to join in on the fun. There will be two groups, one for the kids and one for adults. We are suggesting spending under $20.

Let the Holy Ghost lead you and let you bless a Sister/Brother with something special.

BLESSYOU’TIQUE

We would like to host at least one scheduled store day this month. If you would like to be a part of this Community Day, please contact Sister Ama.

In addition, community members can now shop by appointment. You can direct anyone in need to our website (hldtchurch.org/clothing) or contact Sister Ama to coordinate.

COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERING

Please pray with us for God’s guidance as we move back into volunteering and supporting our greater community in additional ways.

Elect Lady Raesheia spoke with Food Bank of the Rockies this week and, in addition to adult volunteers, we are now able to bring our little sisters and brothers (8 years old and up) to support their mission. This is a great opportunity for us to share of God’s goodness as a whole church family.

We are waiting to hear back from Franklin Nursing Home on scheduled availability. Please reach out to Bishop to participate and support.

HLDT LEADERSHIP POSITIONS

As we are growing and we are adding (and bringing back) ministries, Bishop Harvey would like to expand our Leadership Team to bring in new talents and ensure all of our ministries get the proper attention. The following ministries are looking for committed, dedicated, and faithful individuals to lead:

Prison Ministry
Volunteer Coordinator
Children’s Ministry
Nursing Home Ministry
Dance Ministry

Anyone who is interested in leading these ministries, or supporting in other capacities, please reach out to our Bishop to discuss.

Also, if there is a ministry you feel called to lead that is not listed here, please do not hesitate to reach out to Bishop to discuss more.

COLLEGE MINISTRIES

Sister Kiki would like to thank everyone for participating in her fundraiser. She was 2nd place in her class, by only $18!
